Today is my birthday. March 9th is three and nine in number. In Japanese, three is pronounced as “sun” and nine is pronounced as “kyuu”; therefore, pronouncing “three nine” in Japanese is “sun-kyuu”. Since we don’t have a “th” sound in Japanese language, “san-kyuu” is Japanese version of saying “thank-you” in English.
Recently in Japan, somebody has announced as March 9th is a “san-kyuu” day; aka, “thank you day”. In honor of the “thank you” day on March 9th, Japanese people are suggested to show their appreciation to their family, friends, and coworkers, and teachers, etc. I am so happy to know that my birthday is now recognized as an appreciation day.
Expressing appreciation is a simple but powerful technique to raise our vibration. When we think about appreciation, we put a smile on our face, have a happy feeling, and put aside our daily life’s worries and concerns. We focus on “Now”, in this moment on appreciating.
Whenever we are surrounded by negative energy, let’s think about appreciation to any kinds of things that we are provided. We might appreciate for our good health that we normally don’t appreciate in our daily life; most of us take our good health for granted. Say “thank you” to our body and hug ourselves. We might appreciate for our family. Our parents gave us a life, our siblings give us communicate ability, our spouse gives us opportunities to improve one another, and our kids give us a good laughter and smile.
We are here, thanks to everybody and all the spirits around us. Thank you all.
