In this holiday season, many people spend a fun time on visiting their family and relatives. However, some people feel stressed on spending time with their family. They suffer from isolating feeling from their biological family and relatives in their childhood days, so that they move away from their parents and enjoying freedom. And so, this holiday season gets them stressed out because they feel obligated to visit their family and relative. They fear they will feel isolated among them, if they visit.
If you feel that way, please don’t feel obligated to visit your family and relatives. It is okay for you to say some excuses for not being able to visit them if you don’t feel like it.
I know some brave souls decide to reincarnate to a totally stranger group soul. In such cases, they will suffer from isolated feeling from their biological family and relatives. Most likely other family members are close. You are the only one who always feels isolated from them. You probably blamed yourself and wondered what is wrong with you for not getting along with them.
But what if I tell you that they are just volunteered souls who take you as their family member temporally only this lifetime? Does it make you feel eased? Consider them as a host family for a homestay program. Then, don’t you think they have been doing well as a stranger? You might even appreciate for them to volunteer that.

When I was 20 years old, I participated to a homestay program in Los Angeles. My host family was a Caucasian family of mom, dad, and their 2 children. I didn’t expect them anything, and they didn’t expect me anything. All of us agreed to enjoy the homestay duration (only for 3 weeks) to experience something new. Therefore, there was no specific expectation between us. We got along as a temporary family.
Same thing can be said. When we stop expecting to our biological family and relatives, we start appreciating their kindness to have us for this lifetime. When we see relationships and events, try to observe them from a new and different angle. You might find some new findings for the thing.
