Tips for high quality sleep 12/16/2016

Do you have a high-quality sleep every night?  High quality sleep is a must for your body, mind, and soul to be well balanced. With the well-balanced energy, we can think right, talk right, and act right.

When I was working as a translator, my sleeping routine was bad. When the deadline was tight, I could only 4 hours to sleep. Those days I was not aware of the importance of high quality sleep. When I didn’t sleep well, even after the sleep, I still felt tired and my work efficiency was not good at all.

Those days, I tried these tips to sleep well.

·         Use an imaginary broom to sweep off any unnecessary thoughts from my brain. Image the brain area totally empty.

·         Put a notebook next to the pillow. Whenever any thoughts come up, write down in the notebook so that the thoughts or to do things will be taken care of the following day. Once you write down them in the notebook, forget about them for now.

Nowadays I am aware of the importance of high quality sleep. I know now, a high-quality sleep will fix my concerns and issues. So, especially when I get stuck with some worries and concerns, I go to sleep.

My current tip for a high-quality sleep is to have a deep breathing method. If you have children or pets, simply copy their breathing timing while they are asleep. If you don’t have children or pets to copy with, simply have a very slow and deep breathing, and focus on your breathing.

When we sleep, our soul leaves from our physical body and takes a journey back to our spirit home base. We need this journey every night. In order for our soul to have a easy journey back there, we need to keep it light. When we are filled with negative feelings such as concerns, worries, or anger, our soul gets heavy so that prevents us floating easily. So, before you go to bed, let’s shake off all the unnecessary thoughts. We don’t need such things for our journey back to our spirit home base. Have a high quality sleep every night.
