When I was a university student, I took a class of Philosophy as a general education. Since this class was a mandatory class, around 300 students took the same class at once.
The professor didn’t use any books. He kept on talking about philosophy including the history of Buddhism and Shinto as well as the Western philosophy.
It was obvious that many students were not interested in this class. Most students came in to the classroom to sign the attendance record and quickly left without attending the full class. Other students were listening their own music with a headphone or reading comic or something to kill time.
Me? I loved this class. I think I was the only one who intensively listened this class and took notes. Some of the information especially about Buddhism was so easy for me to understand. Maybe one of my past lifetime was a Buddhist and studied a lot about their history, and that is why I remembered the knowledge.

When the exam day was coming closer, I let one of my classmates to copy my notebook.
From my house to the university, I took three different public transportations; city bus, train, and subway.
On the exam day, on my first ride in the city bus, I saw my neighbor classmate. She was reading a copy of notebook. To my surprise, it was the copy of my notebook.
On my second transportation, I was standing on the isle in the train. One stranger girl who was sitting in front of me was reading the copy of my notebook. On the third transportation as well, the girl who was standing next to me was reading the copy of my notebook. Finally, when I enter the exam room, I saw a whole bunch of students reading the copy of my notebook.
You know, it is very easy for you to spot your handwriting. My handwriting was extremely unique so that it took me just an instant to spot my handwriting. I also added my original illustrations here and there in my notebook, which also made me easy to spot my notebook.
Several days later, I heard the rumor that almost everybody in the philosophy class received an “A” grade from the exam. I am pretty sure my notebook was helpful for everybody. I have no idea how on earth my notebook had spread all over to the entire classmates.
