Artistic gift 1/27/2017

Before my daughter was born, I always had a desire about my children. I wanted my children to learn Karate starting at their very early age (as early as 3 years old) and become a black belt Karate master.

This is simply my personal desire that I could not achieve myself. When I was very small, I wanted to learn Karate. I asked my parents to let me go to the class, but my parents said no to me. They had me go to the swimming class instead.

In my elementary school days, I admired one female classmate because she achieved my dream. Her parents had her learn Karate since she was only 3 years old. Her dad was the Karate teacher at the class. She was pretty popular among boys and girls due to her physical strength and good personality. She appeared pretty skinny from outside, but when she changed to a swimming suit, we all were astonished at her super build-up muscles on all over her body. She was very cool. Just like a hero.

So, that is why I kept the desire and wanted to achieve the desire to my children.

When my daughter turned to 3 years old, I asked her if she wanted to learn Karate. She would always answer no. She was born with the artistic gifts and is good at drawing.

Recently I have been searching for an art class for her. I have found some good classes, but I was told they are only for adults.

So, I have decided that I will teach her art myself. Today I taught her to paint a picture on a canvas with acrylic paint. She was so into it. She almost forgot about the time.

She won’t become a Karate master for me, but I am happy to support her artistic gifts.
