Today the maintenance person came to my house and switched a swamp cooler ON and turned the gas heater OFF. Thank god, with this cooler, I will be able to survive without constant headache from the hot temperature.
The area where I live is located close to the Mexican border. It gets very hot, starting from middle of January.
In my back yard garden, three years ago I planted one avocado seed. It has now grown to almost same height as my height. At the front planting area, next to the entrance door, our rose trees have many rose flowers blooming.
To me, May and June are the toughest months. It gets very hot and dry. I love cold weather and I miss winter, which is very short in this area. On the other hand, my daughter loves hot weather and looks forward to summer. She is full of energy, just like summer.
