I am watching the The Truth About Cancer: A Global Quest, Day 2, directed by Mr. Ty Bollinger. All the information is very eye opening.
Along with watching the show, some of my personal experiences pops up to my conscious.
In the show, one girl answered the interview, saying she was forced to have chemotherapy. I think we all have experienced a strong pressure from the community and hospital staff to receive the same treatment as others. Once you refuse the treatment, many different staff members come trying to persuade you to take it, by putting strong pressure.
Here is one of my personal experiences. I knew vaccines are very bad for babies. I wanted to avoid any vaccines for my daughter. But I also learned that not having vaccines will cause my daughter troubles, such as not being accepted by public schools or even by public preschools.
Anotehr example. During my labor, I was taking some homeopathic remedies in the labor room. When one of the nurse knew that, she warned me to stop taking homeopathic remedies right away, otherwise they would kick me out from the hospital. I couldn’t believe what I heard. Not only form this nurse, but also I experienced many, many unpleasant instructions from medical staff members. That is why I am reluctant to go to the hospital.

In this show, they shared the information that mammography causes cancer. Actually I’ve heard this many times when I was in Japan. That is why I didn’t have one. Once I moved to America, every time I went to see a doctor for annual checkup, they strongly recommend mammography checkup. One American female doctors were very good at persuading me. She looked into my eyes and suggested me to take one. I can tell she believes mammography can help finding cancer at the early stage and the early discover of cancer is the only way to save the patient’s life.
So, I made an appointment of mammography. It was three years ago, 2014. As the appointment days was coming closer, I started hearing the clear voice telling me not to take mammography checkup. The voice came from my family souls. I trusted my family souls and canceled the appointment.
I don’t fully trust what the doctors or nurses say. Especially when they try to persuade me something relates to medication or treatment, I tune into my gut feeling. It is beyond the logical thinking. Just a feeling. And the feeling is always faint. Very subtle sigh. I believe I am responsible for my body and health. Instead of accepting everything doctors and nurses say, we should listen and honor to our gut feeling first, and make a decision whether to accept or refuse.
In this show, the director commented that his intention of this show is not to blame medical staff. There are many good people working in the medical industry. He emphasizes that the system is broken. And that is why he is sharing this show to educate people, so that at least people know their right to accept or refuse a certain medical service. I totally agree with him. I appreciate him for sharing this show.
