Somebody told me that the best way to keep your good health mentally and physically is to start your day with appreciation and end your day with appreciation. I don’t remember who said this. Maybe this is said by many people.
Actually I have been doing this method since I moved to America. When I started living with my husband, I woke up and slept with appreciation for having him in my life. When our daughter was born, my appreciation started toward both my husband and my daughter.

When I think back my previous life so far, I cannot find any other days like I do right now.I had lived alone since the age of 22. I slept alone and woke up alone most of my single days. I experienced loneliness for many years. From this loneliness experience, I can appreciate more to have a family living with me. I didn’t like experiencing loneliness those days, but now at least, I can appreciate what I currently have.
I am still human. I still have good days and bad days. I still have new challenges in my daily life to maintain my inner peace. When I feel out of balance from my inner peace, my family brings me back to my inner peace. Perhaps, I do the same to my family.
The most important thing in life varies to individuals. For some people it might be their career. For others, it might be their romantic love relationship.
For me, I don’t put the importance in being rich or successful in career. Instead, I feel the most important thing in my life is my family. And I really appreciate for what I am provided right now, which is my precious family.
