Labyrinth 5/29/2017

My Ki-Gong teacher invited us to one of her students’ house. The student had a big labyrinth and a medicine wheel in her home site. You might have seen this type of DIY (handmade) labyrinth or medicine wheel in American movies. Americans are benefitted in owning a big piece of land so that they can create these creatives freely in their home site.

There were around 20 participants today. Each of us took time to walk on the labyrinth. I enjoyed it very much.

When I was walking on the labyrinth, I was thinking about one spiritual movie that I watched a couple of years ago. This movie was not a big title, so my Japanese readers probably never heard of it. The movie title was “Sedona.”

I love this movie. And, I love the message in the movie; everything happens for reasons. The main character is guided to new experiences, regardless of her will, and finally reaches at the most unexpected and wonderful surprise. I got goosebumps at the ending. In this movie, a labyrinth takes an important role to support the main character to remember about her soul and bring to what she has been missing.

I do believe a labyrinth and a medicine wheel can support our spiritual journey. Once I have our own land in the future, I will definitely built it on my own.

PS: Since I could not find the proper illustration of a labyrinth, I posted the illustration of a Japanese mosquito coil. I thought it kind of resembles.
