It has been almost two months since my daughter started participating at the local summer school program. She has only three more days to go.
At this program, there are approximately 30 students gathered. The age range is from 1st grader to 5th grader. It was her great opportunity to make friends with different aged kids. Also, she made new friends who go to other school. I am so happy for her to have such a great opportunity to make a variety of friends. Thanks to this program, she had enjoyed her summer vacation. These two months have gone very quickly.
Since some of her new friends were older than her, they all had their own tablet. They always bring their tablet and use it for taking pictures or listening music.
For these two months, my daughter would tell me that she wanted to have her own tablet. I was planning to buy it for her sometime soon.
Today they had an award ceremony of the reading contest for their reading efforts. It was funded and sponsored by the local library. The participants were asked every day, about how many minutes they read books on the previous evening.
The librarian showed the kids the 1st, the 2nd, and the 3rd prizes. My daughter was surprised to see the 1st prize gift was a new tablet. So, she prayed to her angels “please angels, let me win the 1st prize.” At the next second, she heard her name was called as the 1st prize winner. Other kids turned to her and congratulated her. That was the moment when she got her own tablet.
I was amazed on how she manifested her desire, in such a natural way!
