In my Facebook timeline, I see Christian activists’ posts as well as supportive comments for them. The posts are about gay and lesbian people. They say Jesus will forgive them if they confess and apologize for their wrong deeds, and ask for support to get back to normal.
I disagree. They don’t need any forgiveness from anybody. Their deeds are not wrong at all.
The souls who are incarnated as gay and lesbian are brave souls who are willing to see things from different angles. Before they were born, they knew their life would be tough, but they agreed to do so. For this reason, I respect these souls. They are strong and matured souls so that they can handle such a high hurdle in life. Through their life, they would gain new perspectives that are different from the majority people. They also provide the same opportunities to learn new perspectives with their family, relatives, and friends. I support their divine decisions.
Who said gay and lesbian are wrong? The community, society, and tradition have created such stereo typed concepts for their own convenient purpose. Maybe the community leader wanted its people to have many children so that the children can grow up as a soldier in case of war, or a farmer so that they can feed enough food to its community people.
Let’s get back to the universal truth. Only in this physical world, souls have agreed to be recognized as only one sex; male or female. The main purpose is to give a baby birth. It is totally fine with me when some souls decide not to have their own babies and live life as a unique being.
We should remember the original state. We all are souls. As a soul, we are not a man nor a woman. A soul is not recognized as either sex. Each soul is recognized as their own unique personality and tendency.
I want to share my personal experience.
When I was in my early 30s, I became a good friend with one man. We got along with each other very well. We went here and there together. We exchanged our opinions and shared our knowledge. I always enjoyed spending time with him. As the time went by, I started desiring to take one or two more steps to transform our relationship from friendship to romantic one. I told him how I felt about him. After several minutes pause, he told me he was gay. He did not have any desire to have a romantic relationship with a girl.

I felt like as if I were hit by a metal baseball bat by my head. I actually saw some twinkling stars in front of my eyes. I even lost conscious for a while. I don’t remember how I went back to my home.
After I came back to my home, I prayed that he would change his preference and start loving me as a girl. So, as always, I talked to my family spirits what I felt and what I desired. Then, they showed me the spirit world where all the spirits enjoyed expressing themselves without any limitations. Compared with the life in spirit world, all the incarnated souls, here on Earth, are living our lives with a whole bunch of limitations.
After the intense conversation with my family spirits, I was fully aware that my guy friend did not have to change his decision for me. The truth stays the same. The important true for me is I like him and respect him as he is. Love is there. Love does not need to be only in a romantic relationship. Love is everywhere, in all kinds of different relationships as in friendship, family, teacher and student. It is okay to come out from a box (which represents a limitation or stereo typed concept). We are all free.
At last, for the people who agree with my opinion and who are willing to support such brave souls, I would like to recommend you to watch this TED Talk; How the worst moments in our lives make us who we are by Andrew Solomon. Toward the end, he shared his story of his 4-year-old son at his birthday party. You will love this part the most, as I did. I wish many people will stay being pure as his son so that we can love people through our spiritual eyes, not through the certain stereotyped criteria that the society created for their own convenience.
