Today my Ki Gong teacher took me to the drum session. There I met 12 new people.
My first attendance of drum session was at Navajo Nation in 2002. Since then, I have attended at many drum sessions. Each drum session is unique and different.

Among them, tonight’s drum session was definitely one of my most favorite sessions. The leader set the theme of the session (today’s theme was manifestation) and led us with a certain types of rhythm. I liked her way of leading the participants. At most drum sessions, there was no particular rhythm. With her solid leading way, we could take off the spiritual journey together to the same destination. That was how I felt.
There were a variety of people in their nationality and skin color. And they brought different types of drums.
During the session, I lied down myself on the ground in front of the fire. I enjoyed the vibration on the ground coming from a variety of typed drums as well as people’s foot sound taking rhythm. While laying down on the ground, I enjoyed watching the clear sky.
I enjoyed the drum session itself. But the most precious experience for me tonight was to spend time together with my Ki Gong teacher. She visited me in my dream on Nov 14th, which I wrote in my short article. It made a great sense to me why she visited me in my dream. We had a lot to share and we needed to catch up with each other by sharing our stories.
