Resort feeling 1/4/2018

Today I took my daughter to the dental office for her checkup and dental cleaning. Since our dental insurance was changed from last year, I needed to change the dental office. Today’s dental office was new to us. The customer reviews about this facility was excellent. It seems everybody likes it.

The office building was new. The waiting room was great. It equipped with a kids’ play area and a small home movie theater room. All the workers were nice and polite. The waiting time was not that bad.

My daughter comfortably laid down on the recliner chair. The nurse provided her a sunglass and an ear phone with a fluffy cover to listen to the television. Above her, there was the television showing kids’ fun movie. The nurse even applied my daughter some lip balm on her lips to moisten them.

Then the hygienist came. She politely greeted to my daughter. Before she started her dental cleaning, she explained all of her tools to my daughter so that she would not get scared of anything. The dental cleaning was done gently and nicely. After everything was done, my daughter was praised for her daily efforts of no cavity. She was given a prize for doing great during the cleaning.

I couldn’t help asking the nurse if this facility was only for kids. The nurse quickly understood the reason why I asked the question. She told me I was not the only one who asked this question. Other adults envied their kids for being treated with politeness. They wanted to be a patient of this facility. I wish other adults’ medical offices are like this. Even adults want to get a prize when we do good, right?
