I am learning new English terms from my daughter.
Recently I heard her often saying a verb, “mesmerize”. From the context before and after she used this verb, I could tell the verb as something positive meaning. She explained the meaning as “being strongly attracted.” The dictionary says its meaning as “strongly attracted, as if with a magnet”.

The other time I noticed her using the other verb “improvise”. From the context before and after she used this verb, I guessed the verb meaning something creativity. The dictionary shows its meaning as “create and perform (music, drama, or verse) spontaneously or without preparation.”
She sometimes correct my pronunciation of certain English words. She never did that in a mean way. She always keeps her kindness and politeness. I never got offended by being corrected by her.
She often asks me the meaning of some Japanese words, whenever she watches Japanese show. I teach her and she quickly remembers it.
She is teaching Japanese words to my husband too. Whenever my husband pronounced some words in Japanese, she would praise him like “Wow! You said it just right. Amazing. Keep going!”
She says she wants to become a preschool teacher in the future. I am pretty sure she will be the kindest and best teacher ever.
