This is an update of the Japanese school textbook. On July 2nd, I sent a request for the Japanese school textbooks to Consulate-General of Japan. I received the 3rd grader’s textbook the other day. I was waiting for the 2nd grader’s textbooks in a separate envelop.

I called Consulate-General of Japan about the update. They representative told me they sent out two packages to me. They included the textbooks for the 3rd grader in one package, and the textbooks for the 2nd grader in the other package. She gave me the tracking numbers for the two packages.
According to the tracking numbers, the two envelops were sent on the same day. One package has arrived to our house without delay, but the other package was sent to Pittsburgh for some reasons (maybe simply by human error) and came back to Arizona.
Finally today, the second package arrived. The package was worn out with dirt and stains from the long travel. Anyhow, I am happy for its safe arrival.
Now we have the textbooks for the 2nd grader and the 3rd grader. We don’t have the textbooks for the 1st grader. I need to think about on how I should start teaching my daughter with the 2nd grader’s textbooks.
