My daughter is a role model girl at school. She is polite, well behaved, nice and kind to others. She has been like so, even since she was very small.
As a parent of her, I have been thanked and praised for my daughter’s well behavior by her teachers. Of course I am happy and proud of that. But once in a while I worry about my daughter. I feel she has to enjoy being a child while she can. So my small wish for my daughter was to enjoy being a child. I didn’t say that to her. I just had such feeling only in my mind.

I want to share an interesting synchronicity. It is about the mysterious connection between mother and daughter. A daughter can indeed read her mother’s wishes in mind.

We have a coffee table and a study desk in the living room. My daughter enjoys creating her artworks on either the coffee table or a study desk, so these two have naturally become hers.
The other day I scolded my daughter for leaving a mess around the table and the desk.
Her reply was something unexpected to me.
She turned to me and looked me into my eyes, and told me;
“A child enjoys making a mess. A child does not keep things well organized. Childhood days go by so quickly. I’ve got to enjoy my childhood while I can.”

I burst out laughing. This is exactly what I thought in my mind secretly.
She is right on saying that. She has to enjoy her childhood while she can.
Same thing applies to me.
I should enjoy taking care of my small daughter as much as I can while I can. Once she grows up, I might miss cleaning up her messy desk and table. This time, NOW, is happening only now, only once for everybody.
Time is limited. We’ve got to enjoy everything while we can.
