Today my husband went for work normally. All the federal workers have an extra holiday today this year.
I needed to make several phone calls to some offices. I was surprised nobody answered the phone, even though they are not federal organizations. Their automated answering machines said they were in the winter vacation and would open on January 2nd. It seems for many civilian companies and medical institutes to take a long winter vacation this year.
My daughter and I spend a peaceful day together at home, enjoying our art crafts.
In the evening we had some unique clouds. They looked like a whale.
