This afternoon I received a phone call from my husband. He relayed the emergency notice from my daughter’s school. The school will be closed tomorrow due to upcoming winter storm warning in Southern Arizona.
The public alerts says
“WINTER STORM WARNING.

The snow level will lower throughout the day with snow developing as low as 3500 feet. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 4 inches between 3500 and 4500 feet with higher amounts above 5000 feet can be anticipated. —- Quoted from Public Alerts Page

This is our first time of school shutting down due to snow. The alerts will be effected from 11 pm tonight to 8 pm tomorrow.
According to my daughter, some classmates started crying because they got so scared. I hope everything will calm down soon.
