Recently I have been wishing to cook with fire.
Our current house has an electric cooking stove. Since we are renting it, we cannot change the complete cooking stove set to a gas stove. As a countermeasure, my husband and I started thinking about buying a portable butane stove burner.
We went to a store and found one with the reasonable price. On the moment, my husband remembered he has the same one at home. Several years ago one of his coworkers gave it to him and he completely forgot about it.
We quickly went back home. My husband took the portable butane stove burner out to the kitchen.
This portable stove was actually almost new, since his coworker used it only once, while he was in the business trip. The portable butane stove worked great. The gas power was much stronger than I thought.
As a starter, we warmed the leftover soup with gas fire. All of us had the soup. It tasted much better than warming up by electric stove.
In the evening I cooked brown rice with a stovetop pot with gas fire. The brown rice was cooked perfectly. It turned out soft and juicy.
I am so happy that I can cook with gas fire from now on. I feel good that the god of fire will be one of my strongest healers for my body and my family’s.
