Yesterday I leaned about the electromagnetic waves. So, starting from last night, I try to avoid the contact with my cell phone and ipad as much as I can. I stopped keeping my cell constantly with me.
Since I was away from my cell phone, I didn’t notice a phone call from my daughter’s school.
After lunch, I went to my cell phone and noticed a voice mail from school. It was from the school nurse.
With my heart beating fast, I listened to her message. I got relieved to know it was not emergency. The school nurse called me just 5 minutes ago.
Her message was about my daughter’s allergic reaction in her lips.
My daughter is allergic to peanut. Today’s lunch menu was a peanut butter sandwich. My daughter ordered an alternative menu. Unfortunately the lunch lady gave her a peanut butter sandwich by mistake. Since my daughter believed it was an alternative sandwich, she took a bite. Immediately her lips got swollen. That was how she ended up visiting the school nurse’s office.

The school nurse asked me if it is okay for her to apply some ointment.
I went to school and saw the school nurse. I asked her not to apply any ointment. I also explained her the allergic symptom would disappear after a hot shower.
I brought my daughter back home and gave her a hot bath. My guess was right. After a hot bath, her swollen lips soon disappeared. Specifically, I also gave her a reiki healing energy, some homeopathic remedies, and a big hug. These will work for her most of the time.
It was great that we live very close to the school. I am so glad that we didn’t transfer our daughter to the far away school. And I am happy that I am always available for my daughter.

P.S.
When the school nurse called me, she wanted to give my daughter a dose of Benadryl before I arrived at school. Since I never heard of the medicine name and didn’t know about it, I asked her not to give her any medicine.

On the next day when I saw the school nurse again at school, she told me this.
If she cannot get hold of me next time, since the allergic reaction can be tragic, she wants to give my daughter a dose of Benadryl. I nicely asked her I still would like her to avoid giving my daughter any over the counter medication.
I prefer to use the alternative methods such as homeopathic remedies and traditional healing. I could tell from her gesture and face expression that she disagreed with my option. I didn’t want to argue with her, so I stopped saying anything more.
I am still one of the minorities who are aware of the danger of over the counter medicines.
I cannot force anybody to change their opinion. All I can do for now is to follow my heart and do what I believe.
