I had a nice dream. My late friend visited me in my dream. She has been working very busy to share the Native American’s way of teaching. She was very popular and famous. In my dream, she had a beautiful appearance just the same as that of while she was in her last life. While she was alive, I envied her for what she had; the fame, the popularity, and the beautiful appearance. Now in my dream, I realized she gained them from her continuous efforts. Once I accepted the truth, I could fully applause her for her success. She gave me a nice long hug with lots of her love.

Then I woke up.
Back to my reality, I noticed the slight pain in my right ankle. My ankle got swollen more than last night. I guess it is the process of healing. I stayed at home relaxed and rest up all day today.
I thought of my injury of yesterday.
Our main purpose of visiting the farm was to get on the hay ride and to participate the corn maze. These two fun events are available only October; only one month of the year. My daughter had been looking forward to these events. Because of my injury, we could not participate them. I feel sorry for my daughter.

Then, I thought of the lessons I can learn from it.
The lesson I learned from my injury is to appreciate to my feet. I have been working on my daily exercise to lower my glucose level and weight. My daily exercise heavily depends on my feet. Without my healthy ankle, my exercise is limited. So, I took my time to show my appreciation to all of my body parts and body cells for functioning for me all the time. I promise I will take much better care of my body and body cells.
And not to mention, I appreciate to my family. My husband and daughter have supported me for many chores while I am in injury. Thank you to my husband and daughter.
Although I needed to use a cane to walk inside the house in the morning, my ankle got better so that I could go for a usual evening walk in a slow pace in the evening.
