Amaterasu Oomikami’s blessing 10/22/2019

I had an acupuncture appointment this morning. As of yesterday morning I thought I would not be able to drive due to the sprained ankle. So, yesterday I canceled my appointment. My acupuncturist asks her clients to notice 24 hours in advance in case of cancellation.

This morning I woke up comfortably. My ankle was still little bit swollen and had a tiny bit of tingling feeling, but I didn’t have any pain at all.

I went for a usual morning walk. I actually could jog. I felt so light.

During the daytime, I could do my usual 2 sets of 10-minutes dance exercise. In the evening I could walk to school to pick my daughter up. I could do all the chores and exercises without limping. My sprained ankle healed just in one day.

I was thankful to my body to heal so quickly. I thought it might take at least two weeks to heal, according to the Internet information. I appreciate my body and body cells to accelerate the heal process.

October 22, 2019 was one of the most important days for Japanese. It was a National holiday celebrated 「即位礼正殿の儀の行われる日」; An Enthronement Ceremony for the Reiwa Era.

“Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako took part in the Sokuirei Seiden no Gi, the ceremony formally announcing to Japan and the entire world that they have ascended to the throne.” – quoted from the blog of Nippon.com.

What astonished me was the weather. In Tokyo area, they had a heavy rain due to the ongoing Typhoon No. 20 in the morning. However, right before the ceremony started, the rain stopped and the sky showed blue with a complete rainbow. People believe it was a blessing from Amaterasu Oomikami; Sun Goddess from Japanese creation story.

I am in awe on how powerfully Japan country and its people are protected by Japanese Gods.
