My daughter found one cracked tooth in my mouth. I had a similar situation last year. It was last June when she found one cracked tooth. It was the left upper tooth next to canine tooth.
This time one year later, it happened to the upper right tooth, next to canine tooth.
Last year, I quickly went to see the dentist and he urged me to fill a new crown on it. I went back to my original dentist and he gave me an easier option. Instead of having a new crown, he patched it up as a temporary measure. Instead of paying for a new crown that would cost me more than $1,000, the nice dentist charged me about $100 for patching it up. The temporary measure is still working properly in my tooth.
I decided to wait for upper right cracked tooth until my next dental appointment. It is still a small crack. I will ask my dentist to do the same procedure, as a temporary measure.
It is not fun to accept my own body going through aging process, but I need to face the fact. That means I need to put more time and energy to take good care of my body.
