Today our Homesite lease process in Navajoland finally terminated. We started in summer 2016 and ended in August 2020. It took them 4 years to process.
Luckily in this situation, the Navajo tribal office allowed us to authorize my dad-in-law to receive the final lease contract documents.
In September we are planning to visit my in-laws and receive the document. My family has been missing our Navajo parents and the Navajoland energy. It will be more than one year since our last visit.
