Since last Tuesday, September 8th, the local public school had resumed preparing a free meal kit for kids 0-18 years old. The meal kit contains breakfast and lunch for one week. The school distributes the kit every Monday morning. This meal kit give away will continue until the end of this year.
My daughter is qualified to receive the meal kit. She received a boxful of food. Everything was frozen and individually packed. They reminded me of an airplane meal.
I appreciate for the local school and CDC who have made this decision to support the children in our community.
