This morning I had a doctor’s appointment. It was a follow-up appointment for my recent lab test result. This was done online through Bluejeans app.
My result of HbA1C of August was 7.1. With this result, the doctor told me I had been doing well. I had been well controlling my diabetes without taking the diabetic mediation. However, the result of this month was not good. It got worsen to 7.8
I like my doctor because she stays calm and never says any negative things to me. She calmly asked me what I think the cause of getting worse in this past three months. My life style stays the same. I keep a good eating habit and exercise habits. The only reason that I can think of is my husband’s unemployment. He was unemployed since August 1st, and I have been worried and feeling stressed out. Now that my husband got a new job recently, I am pretty sure I will be worry-free and stress-free. I will get better again.
The doctor listened to me with her gentle smile on her face. She agreed with me that I will get better in the next lab test.
