My dad-in-law had been suffering from the pain in his leg for a while. He bumped his right upper thigh at the corner of the kitchen table. It happened around the last Christmas. He didn’t do anything about the injury because he thought the pain would go away in a couple of days. At that time they were planning to visit us at the first or second week of January. He thought his injury would get healed by then. But it didn’t get healed even at the beginning of January.
While days had passed by, the pain in his leg never disappeared, but it got worse and worse. My mom-in-law kept on nudging her husband to go see the doctor, but he never did.
Today, after more than three weeks had passed, my dad-in-law finally decided to go see the doctor due to the unbearable pain.
The hospital didn’t allow my mom-in-law to wait for her husband at the waiting lobby, so she needed to come back home alone. Some hours later my dad-in-law came back home with some Ibuprofen pills. They didn’t do anything for his leg. The pain never went away, so he went back to the hospital again late at night. There, the different doctor checked his leg and noticed the serious symptom. The doctor decided to fly him out to the other hospital in a big city.
Now he is in the big hospital. We don’t know what would happen next. I hope the doctor would treat him correctly so that he would be discharged from the hospital soon.
