Mantra class (7) 1/26/2021

At 9 p.m., I attended my seventh Mantra class. There were eight students attended.

An interesting synchronicity occurred. One of the mantra teaches us to pay attention to what we see, hear, and think. It teaches to make efforts to see, hear, and think only precious and positive things. This teaching resonates with me. I just experienced my energy drained when I read one of my friends’ text message. She sent me a very, very long text messages that was full of negative energies. It was nothing to do with me but it was her complains about her coworkers.

She is five years older than I. I wonder why she doesn’t know the basic manner. Nobody wants to spend their precious time on reading somebody’s complains. She often does this to me. I thought I should ask her to stop doing this to me. I meditated on how I can gently ask her to stop this. With my heart got fully peaceful state, I asked her to stop sending me the negative complains through the cell phone text.

Sadly I don’t think she completely understand. She did apologize but she also added a whole bunch of excuses. She doesn’t mind to listen or read her friends’ complains. I wanted to reply back to her, but I stopped. It will make the situation worse. Instead, I just simply replied back to her by writing something nice.

Everybody has their own timing to fully realize how awful to use your friend or family member to dump their negative energies.
