It was a very hot day. I felt like I was in the middle of summer. I really missed the swamp cooler.
My family and I went to the warehouse store. We had the membership of this store, but could not go there for a while due to Covid-19. This store is located in the big down town area and there were so many infected people. The last time we visited this store was in February 2020, when the pandemic barely started. Today the store was peaceful and quiet. The layout was little it changed. There were some items that we didn’t see last time. There were a huge variety of facial masks, disinfection wipes, alcohol sanitizers. And they got rid of the benches and tables at the food court so that nobody could eat in there anymore.
After the warehouse store, we stopped by at the pet shop at the mall. One month ago when we visited this store, upon entrance, the store worker checked the visitor’s body temperature. Today, there was a note stacked at the entrance door. They closed the store for public and allowed only the customers who made an appointment prior to their visit. My daughter was disappointed because she always enjoyed petting puppies there. In our current renting house, we are not allowed to have pets inside the house, so that we will need to wait for our moving back to Navajoland to have dogs. We look forward to our new life with dogs in our house.
