Today was a valentine day. I thought I should give my dad a call just to be nice.
Before I made a phone call, I asked my late mom for her support. I simply wanted to talk with my dad without any arguments. Luckily my daughter can see my mom. My daughter saw and hear my mom telling me that she would support me.
So I called my dad.
It was like a miracle. With only one calling, my dad answered the phone. His voice sounded strong and healthy. We greeted each other with happy voice tone. My dad told me he would have the first year anniversary memorial service for my mom on February 27th. I asked him what he wanted to have for an offering for her alter. He told me he has a whole bunch of incents, so he prefers to have something to eat. When I asked him if I should send some rice cracker, he happily agreed. Then I quickly hang up the phone. I am glad our phone conversation went well.
Then I ordered one box of rice cracker to my dad’s house. I know he will love this rice cracker gift.
