The 16/8 intermittent fasting resumed 2/27/2021

Yesterday during the massage therapy, my massage therapist shared her personal experience. When she came to this city 7 years ago, she had too much weight of 230 lb. Her health was in a bad shape. All lab test results were flagged including high blood pressure and high blood sugar level. During that time, she read some books of Dr. Jason Fung. She learned about the 16/8 intermittent fasting and a three-day fasting. Whenever she did fasting, she easily lost 10 pounds easily. Now she looks healthy and skinny. She recommended me to read his books and learn about the fasting methods, and eventually to fast.

I visited his homepage. His books seem to have beneficial information to reverse diabetes. I already ordered some of his books. Looking forward to reading them.

He recommends the 16/8 intermittent fasting method. I have done this method before. I had started it since October 1st of 2019. I lost some pounds and my glucose level had been stable. I had continued this good habit for more than one year; 14 months. However, on December 6th of last year I happened to break my good habit and had breakfast with my family. Since then, I naturally got back to my normal eating habit of eating three meals a day. I regret it.

Refreshed my goal to reverse diabetes, I resumed the 16/8 intermittent fasting from today.
