Today’s dream: I was in the train heading to Tokyo. I belonged to a talent agency in Japan. I had appeared in some movies and a television programs. I was a celebrity. While I was waiting for my train, I happened to meet my Japanese friend and her daughter at the station platform. We had a good time to catch up with each other and took the same train. Then I woke up.

My family and I have kept on thinking about a dog that was almost become our family. Today we made an appointment to visit the local animal shelter and finally met all the rescued dogs.
When we arrived at the parking lot, there was one car parked beside of our car. There were a couple and they were about to enter a dog to their car. It looked like the couple just adopted the dog. The dog was so happy licking their faces and jumping around. It seemed the dog was saying thank you to them many times. They happily left. I was in awe to look at the precious scene.
Then we entered the building. One worker guided us to the door to outside where all the rescued dogs were waiting for visitors.
When we opened the door to outside, all the dogs started barking loud. I was overwhelmed by the barking sounds. It sounded to me all the dogs were shouting from their heart saying “take me, save me please.” I almost cried.
We greeted the dogs one by one. Every dog looked nice with pure souls. I felt sorry for them. At the last dog’s cage, I met one dog with black in most of his body with white chest. He didn’t bark that loud; instead, he looked me straight into my eyes, whining very sadly. Kind of begging me to take him with me. I knew I was not ready to take him back home, so I said sorry to him and left the place.
Now I understand people really cannot leave with empty handed. They could not do nothing but adopt at least one dog on every visit to an animal shelter.
Right before we left the building, the staff members were nice enough to tell us that their dogs won’t stay there for long. There are always somebody to adopt the dogs and cats. I am glad to know there are many dog and cat lovers saving their lives.
