Higher-self workshop 5/26/2021

I attended the Higher-self workshop at 3:30 a.m. There were19 students attended.

We did two guided meditations.

The first one was a short one of 10-minute long. Beforehand the meditation, the instructor told us to write down any negative feelings or events we want to let go. In the meditation we were guided to fire ceremony at Japanese temple and burn all the items in the list that we just wrote.

My lists were as follows.

Fear to humans — I don’t want to be watched or heard. I don’t want to get involved with people.

Fear to be criticized or judged — I have been writing a memoir and completed a picture book, but I am not planning to publish yet because of the fear.

Fear to be famous — If I become famous, my family might be involved in a danger.

Not confident in my appearance – I don’t have confidence in my face and appearance in public.

During the mediation, an owl came. I didn’t feel any specific message from the owl. The owl just presented there for me and watched me quietly.

The second meditation was a 25-minute long. My guide spirit appeared in golden light. I could not see the figure. I felt female energy.

She said I am very unique and born with many unique spiritual gifts. She said I should be proud of it. She encouraged me to have courage and show my unique spiritual gifts to many people. When I have confidence in myself, beauty comes from inside to out. People will notice the beauty coming inside of me. She said there are people who are waiting to find me. Unless I go out and show myself, they cannot find me. They will be saved and inspired by my books and words, and my existence. She emphasized me the importance of my publishing books. I noticed the owl from the first meditation was still there with my guide spirit.

At the class, I could not ask the instructor the meaning of an owl’s visit in my mediation. So, after the class I looked it up in the Internet and found the information like this.

An owl’s visit in mediation can mean a great change will come into your life. An owls represents transition and will guide you during difficult times in your life.

These messages make sense to me. I enjoyed this instructor’s class as always. I like her guided meditation.
