This year the weather is definitely different from the previous years. I have been living in this area for 12 years now. I always had a tough time to get by in May and June as these months are the hottest and driest months of the year. This year we had a cool temperature in last May. I sometimes wore a long sleeve shirt and long pants with even a light jacket in May. This month is different too. Even in June, the hottest summer month, I need a T-shirt and long pants in the morning and the night as it is too cold for a tank top and short pants. I read some news talking about the positive impacts from the Covid-19 pandemic. Because humans refrained from using cars and airplanes, the quality of air and ocean water have much more improved than before.

My daughter attended the first day of Summer school. I prayed my family spirits and her family spirits that she would have a good time with other participants.
She came back home and told me lots of things that she experienced. All in all she had a good time. Even though she went through some minor uncomfortable experiences from some mean adults and bulling children, she told me in a fun way. I am proud of her getting stronger than before. I really hope she will keep enjoying the summer camp and staying safe all the time. Thank you to our family spirits for taking good care of my precious daughter.
