I had a dental cleaning appointment at 9 a.m. When I arrived there, the receptionist told me my appointment was canceled because my hygienist called in for being sick. The receptionist told me she left a voice message on my cell phone. I took out my phone but didn’t see any voice messages. The receptionist called to my husband’s cell phone and left a voice message on his phone. I was irritated.
This dental office people always called to my husband’s cell phone to confirm my appointment in advance. We knew they mistakenly registered my husband’s phone number under my account. Both of my husband and I asked them many times to correct the wrong information. Every time the person who picked up the phone told us it was fixed. But obviously it was not fixed. And their mistake, I don’t know whose fault it was, ruined my precious time. The receptionist apologized me many times. I knew it was not her mistake, but I was still irritated for their mistake.
On my second thought, I noticed it was the second challenge to me. Didn’t I pass the test for not getting mad just 4 days ago with the similar situation? I felt my family spirits tested me if I can stay being in my inner peace no matter what happens outside. When I noticed it, I took a deep breath and regained my inner peace.
On the way back, I stopped by at the grocery store. I was already back to my normal inner peace, so that everything went well and everybody I run into was nice in the store. At the self-cashier, while I was checking my items in, one female customer came to me and offered me a coupon. She showed me the coupon. It was $6 off when you buy $60 and more. She said she didn’t buy enough to use the coupon, so she wanted to offer me the coupon because I had full items in my shopping cart. I thankfully accepted her offer and used the $6 discount on my shopping.
I thought this female customer might be an earth angel that my family spirits sent to me. They wanted to congratulate me that I noticed that I was off from my inner peace and that I quickly regained back to my inner peace. There were many other customers around me but the female customer chose to me to give her coupon.
