I have had a meeting with one insurance agent four times so far. I decided to purchase 4 different annuity insurance packages from this agent. Since February 17 is a good day in Japanese calendar, I was planning to apply all the four applications on the day.
However, something kept on telling me to wait. I don’t have any complaints about this agent. Just my gut feeling told me to wait. My gut feeling equals to my family spirits. I wanted to know the reason why my family spirits want me to postpone for the purchase.
All of a sudden I realized one thing. I fully trusted the agent and never did some research of the insurance companies by myself. After I searched the company reviews, I know why my family spirits want me to postpone/cancel this cases. One company had bad reviews from customers and the bad reviews were made recently even in this month. The customers’ complaints were almost the same. Their customer support was really bad and not helpful at all.
I contacted the insurance agent and told what I learned from my research. She seemed to be mad and replied back with some attitude saying she cannot be any of more help.
I got relieved for some reasons. Even though it ended with a not fun ending, maybe I was not supposed to work with her. My insurance purchase procedure has gotten back to the starting point. I know I will eventually meet the right person.
