In the morning I called the internet provider and requested to terminate the contract. In the evening at 3 p.m., they sent me the engineer to remove their equipment. I terminated the contract due to their bad service, I personally feels I have the right to receive a refund of a half month’ fee, but most likely they are not going to provide a refund of this month’s fee. I talked with my friend and asked for advice regarding dealing with a bad business. She recommended me to report my experience to BBB (Better Business Bureau) and The Chamber of Commerce. I went to these two websites and searched this internet provider. I saw a whole bunch of complains from their customers about this company. I will sleep on it if I should report to these websites or not. I am happy though, that I am not doing the business with them anymore.
In the evening at 5 p.m., I attended the online Reiki gathering. Today my Reiki teacher shared two Zen words. Both words are familiar with me but it was a good reminder. The first reminder was 一期一会 (Ichigo-Ichie). This is one of his favorite words and he loves to remind us often. It means one meeting is once in a lifetime, and so, every moment is precious. We have to enjoy every single moment to the most. The second reminder was 言霊 (Kotodama). It means spirit of words. Words have power. Words is reality. Whatever we say, it becomes reality, and so, we have to pay attention to what we speak. My late dad-in-law often reminded me about this too. Maybe it was a reminder from him through my Reiki teacher tonight.
