It was the Federal holiday to honor the independence day of July 4th. My husband went to work normally. The sad thing is his company does not pay the extra pay for working on the Federal holiday. He still likes his company and is tolerant with it. After he came back he went to the local park where the local community offered a party open for the public. We re-united with the familiar friends there. We had a good time to catch up with each other. Same old, nothing new, except for our children. Every year we are amazed how tall they get.
