I attended the online Reiki gathering at midnight. There were 37 attendees. One Reiki teacher from Myanmar has been successfully introduced Japanese Reiki to her people. There were many Chinese oriented new students attended at tonight’s gathering.
Today he chose the Japanese word 生き甲斐 Ikigai to share the meaning with the group. Before he shared his wisdom, he asked me to share the wisdom from my personal point of view. I appreciate my Reiki teacher for allowing me to speak up in front of the group. Even though I don’t raise my hand to share my wisdom, he always asks me to speak up.
I shared my understanding of Ikigai like this. It is the life purpose and the reason why I am here. It is something to make me happy in soul level.
My Reiki teacher agreed my understanding and followed his personal understanding like this.
生き甲斐 is good result for living. It is not intellectual understanding, rather you should feel. His Ikigai is to teach Reiki and offer supports to the people who need them.
I feel blessed to be able to be there with him. He always inspires us in a good way on how to live our life happily according to our soul’s purpose.
