I attended the insurance agent’s regular meeting. I am still debating if I should completely be out from this insurance sales broker’s team meeting or not. I decided to attend today’s one to check on my feeling.
Today’s MC was one of my two uplines. I respect her because she is calm and objective. She never lost her temper based on the emotion. Today she shared her sales technique with other team members. She says the most important talent we should have when it comes to sales is the ability to chat. It is not a big deal if we don’t know much about the products or we are not good at explaining about the products. But it is a big deal if we cannot continue a small talk with a customer to open up their mind to us. I agree with her and appreciate her for a good reminder. In order to have a nice small talk with a customer, we have to take the first step to like the customer and be interested in them. Personally I need to first outcome my shyness and have my heart open to people.
