In the evening at 6 p.m., I attended the online lecture about natural birth. The speaker is a Japanese midwife. She is also a certified homeopath and loves homeopathy, so that she encourages the expectant mothers to have a natural birth with the support of homeopathy.
While I was listening to her lecture, I thought of my pregnancy days and labor. I wanted to have a natural birth with the support of a midwife like her, but I could not find the right one for me. I had my labor at the hospital. I brought my homeopathy kits and the guide books with me. When one of the nurses caught me taking homeopathy remedies, she overreacted. She quickly went back to the nurse station and reported them what she saw. Then, she came back to me with her supervisor. The supervisor nurse yelled at me to stop taking homeopathy remedies right away saying that the hospital didn’t allow to take any other mediations rather than their prescribed ones. She also warned me if I don’t listen to them, they had no option but kick me out from the hospital. I was in the midst of the labor. My labor had begun at the previous night with water break, and I was in the midst of suffering the contractions. I needed to put my homeopathy kits and guide books in my bag.
There were lots of regrets during my labor, but still, it is a past. I should focus on the happiness that I am provided right now. My husband and I are thankful that my daughter came to us safely.
Mine was already past, but I am wiling to support anybody who is willing to have a natural birth with the support of homeopathy in the future.
