We were planning to leave navajoland in the early morning. We woke up at 6 a.m. which is our 5 a.m., but by the time when we almost completed packing, my mom-in-law came to me and asked me in a whispered voice if we can stay one more night. I thought it cute of her. She started feeling missing us already while she was watching us packing our stuff to the car. All of us miss our own house and sleeping on our bed, so we decided to leave today anyway.
At the last moment right before we got on the car, I was playing with Bucky, running around the area. All of a sudden, I heard the dull cut sound on my left calf. At the same time, I felt a sharp pain. I could not even walk normally. I pulled my muscle.
We took my husband’s car this time, which is an automatic car, so that I could have driven. But my husband insisted he would drive all the way of 8-hour drive. Thanks to him, I could rest up all the way back home.
We arrived back safely around 4 p.m.
Around 8 p.m., we watched the firework show for the July 4th cerebration from our house.
