Acupuncture session and the medical clinic visit 10/14/2025

In the early afternoon at 2:30 p.m., I went to the oriental acupuncture clinic. There, the Asian male doctor, probably he is from Philippine, gave me two different types of sessions. The first session was an Asian acupuncture. He didn’t put the needles all over the body, but only in the injured area,  and  set the red and warm light shone on the area. The second session was at the special massage chair that pulls the spine little by little. The two sessions were okay but I didn’t feel any progresses. I probably will not come back to this clinic. However, there was one great thing about this clinic. It was the female receptionist. She was very thoughtful and nice to me.

At 4 p.m., I had another appointment at my primary care clinic. I was reluctant to come here, because I knew the doctor would scold me about not having a doctor’s visit regarding my diabetic situation. I guess was right. The doctor, who was different from my previous visit, preached about not having the diabetic checkup regularly. The checked my A1C level and found out it was very high as 10.4 She prescribed two different types of diabetic mediations and one powerful pain reliever medication.

By the time when my husband and I finished picked up the mediations, the sun was already set and it was dark outside. I was exhausted by the time when we came back home. My honest feeling is that I still hate clinics and hospitals even though they helped me by prescribing medications. I want to get well as soon as possible so that I won’t need to come back to any clinics and hospitals.
