It was a cold day with the low outside temperature. Whenever the low outside temperature, my nerve pain got worse from my recent experience. With the intense pain due to the cold weather, I had a physical therapy appointment tomorrow morning. My husband already took many days off from work to support me, and he is now back to work, I cannot ask him to take me to the therapy office anymore. When I think of going to the physical therapy, especially taking the dry needling with electrical stimulation, I was reluctant. Plus, I will have to drive there by myself. My appointment was at 7 a.m. They put an announcement to charge a cancellation fee if a cancellation is made within 24 hours. I called before 7 a.m. I knew it was too early to call the office, but hoped somebody would pick up the phone. I was lucky. A female worker picked up the phone and she was very nice and thoughtful. She accepted the cancelation without charging the fee. My daughter needed help in understanding her math. If I were in the normal health, I would be able to teach her, but today with the intense pain, I could not focus on anything. I felt sorry to my daughter for not supporting her.
In the night at 7 p.m., I talked with my attorney on zoom. I could have some valuable information regarding out lawsuit.
My husband suggested me to apply taping around my right foot. He learned it in the military days. Luckily since we had a medical tape in our medicine cabinet, he applied a taping on my right foot firmly. It helped to reduce the irritation whenever my foot touches any other things such as a blanket or a sheet. The pain with a taping reduces to 30% out of 100%.
