I woke up comfortably in the hotel room. The bed mattress and the pillows were comfortable for me that I could sleep well even though in a hotel room. We woke up early in the morning and left for my daughter’s school event. The venue was the 3-hour drive away from our house. It was still cold all day. I could not do much progress in anything today. Just barely finished cleaning some areas of the house and got ready for the one-night trip on tomorrow night. I love cold temperature but I cannot do much in the cold weather for being lazy.

We came back home from Navajoland. I am thankful that our house was well protected. Having a short trip is fun, but coming back home and sleeping on my own bed is the greatest gift after the trip. Our area was still in the cold temperature. The inside of our house was very cold.  

Yesterday we found out the water pipe outside of the kitchen of my mom in law was broken due to freezing air. Luckily, she could get hold of a Plumer and he came down to see the situation.
