The other day my neighbor friend brought us a surprise gift, which was a whole turkey. We thankfully received her love and kindness. When I opened our freezer, there was no space for such a big turkey. The cooking instruction says we will need to thaw it in the refrigerator for 4 days. Luckily, we had enough room for the whole bird in the refrigerator, so we kept it for 3 nights/4 days. This morning it was ready to cook. With the help of my husband, we gave a good massage to the bird with generous amount of olive oil and other spices, and baked it in the oven.

It turned out pretty well. My husband and daughter enjoyed the nice dinner. As for me, I noticed my body does not accept much of turkey, so only some small bites were enough for me. Now, there were lots of leftover for my husband in the freezer.

This evening I was planning to attend the monthly online Reiki gathering, but it was cancelled. Our reiki teacher just came back from his business trip of Romania and needs more rest. 

I thought of my Reiki teacher. He emphasizes the importance of valuing “right now” by reminding us Ichigo Ichie (一期一会) over and over again. I agree with him and would like to value the importance of each gathering. I hope he will rest up well and we will see him in the next online gathering. Thank you, Hyakuten-sensei, for your kindness and sharing your precious teaching and inspiration.

When I visited my mom in Japan two years ago, I wanted to cook healthy foods for her with safe ingredients. I went to several grocery stores in town and even in the next town, but I could not find organic produces or some ingredients that I wanted to purchase anywhere. I felt sad that the people who live in my parents’ area cannot purchase any safe ingredients locally. Maybe they are available through online shopping, but it is not available for the old people like my parents who do the daily shopping locally.

Compared with that, we are lucky that we can purchase safe ingredients locally. At the area where I live, starting several years ago, my local grocery stores started having organic produces and they constantly added the types of organic produces available. Recently I found they started having a variety of organic onions. My favorite produce is an onion. I cook and eat an onion every day.

Every Thursday morning the people of the local community garden share their organic produces for free of charge to the community. I myself have my small garden in my backyard too.

One of my husband’s coworkers bring chicken eggs that he raises to give away to his coworkers. It doesn’t happen regularly, but once in a while we receive the naturally grown eggs.

I feel blessed. I would not have been able to feel this way while I was living in Japan. Now I can say from my heart that we don’t need to be surrounded by whole munch of luxurious material items. Natural produces with lots of vital energies make us feeling rich and blessed.

I had the same schedule as yesterday, having two zoom meetings from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. In the early afternoon at 1 p.m., I had a homeopathy counselling for my daughter, and in the late afternoon at 4 p.m., I attended a zoom seminar regarding the retirement house presented by the Japanese professional group of a CPA, and a financial adviser, and some attorneys. Today’ session was desiccated for Q & A. All the information was helpful. I really appreciate for the people who presented this seminar for us; Japanese people living in a foreign country.

It was a busy day as I had two zoom meetings back-to-back started from 1 p.m. and ended 6 p.m.

In the early afternoon at 1 p.m., I had a homeopathy counselling with my new homeopathy friend. She is a senior student of the Japanese professional homeopathy school and dealing with the final report of actual cases. We started chatting about our common course of Inner Child therapist course. She started the course one year before me and just had the final exam for the certification yesterday.

I really appreciate for getting to know her. It is very rare to find like-minded people like her who understand natural healing methods such as homeopathy. I would love to cherish this friendship for the rest of my life.

During our session, she used QX Scio that is an energy measurement equipment. It also fixes the energy flow remotely. I had an interesting experience with her QX Scio. Starting from the middle of the session, I started having dull headache. After the session I wanted to go to bed to lay down, but at the same time I wanted to go for a walk. So, I went for a walk with my family for 20 minutes. After the walk, I felt little bit better. My daughter gave me Reiki healing for a while. Then my headache was completely gone. When I closed my eyes, I could see a vision of a rusted bottle. A huge screw driver appeared and started rub off the rusts. I saw the rust part falling down on the ground. I knew her SCIO was adjusting my energy field. Later on, the homeopath told me that she let the SCIO kept on working on my energy field fixing work until 7 p.m., it was around the same time when my headache was completely gone.

Our counselling session had lasted for 3 hours. I had another zoom training started from 4 p.m. It was a helpful lecture presented by several Japanese speakers. They were an attorney and a CPA working for the Japanese people who live in a foreign country regarding the Japanese governmental offices such as tax and pension. The lecture was 1.5 hour with full of useful information. I appreciate all of them for generously offering their knowledge and information to support us.  

I attended Reiki Summit 2022. There are 36 speakers and I cannot listen to every single one of them. I needed to be selective on which speaker I will watch their interview. I watched two speakers so far. The first speaker is my Reiki teacher, Hyakuten-san.

In his interview, he emphasized the importance of raising our spiritual awareness in order to become a great Reiki practitioner. I totally agree with him and I am so happy to have found him as my reiki teacher. I learned Reiki from him in 2008. It has been 14 years so far. His stance stays the same. He wants to stay being humble and simple. He encourages us to stop thinking, but smile and let go. When you completely surrender and believe in the Universe, then you don’t need to do anything except for being there as just a simple pipe to convey Reiki energy from the Universe. I love his teaching always.

The second speaker is one Japanese female Reiki teacher who teaches Jikiden Reiki in Canada. I didn’t know anything about her lineage. Her explanation of her lineage was helpful to understand. I resonated with her saying the challenging and difficulty when it comes to translate Japanese culture to someone who is not a Native Japanese. When her Japanese teacher said only one word, sometimes she has to add 3 sentences to explain the background culture of the word. Because Japanese words come from our long history with our ancestors’ traditional ways, even just one word has deep meanings behind it. When we translate Japanese word into English, we cannot translate it in one word. Otherwise, nobody will understand the word properly.

In the morning we went for bowling. Same as yesterday, there were more bowlers than usual maybe because of the Veteran’s Day week.

In the evening my family and I went to the local community college. They offered a Native American flute concert. One of the performers was a Navajo man. His main clan is the same one as my late-dad-in-law.

After the concert, we stopped by at Walmart. I seldom go to Walmart. Maybe my last time to be there was more than 1 year ago. I was surprised at their layout change. McDonald was switched to Dunkin Donut. In the store, we run into my daughter’s teacher. She used to be the assistant principal at the local elementary school. I heard she was popular and I agree with other’s opinion. She was helpful for my daughter. It was nice to be able to catch up with her. She is now transferred to the principal at the school located in the next city. I am happy to know that I my daughter chooses to go to the local high school, our favorite principal will be there.

Sometimes when we do something differently from our routine, we will run into somebody whom we want to see again. Tonight, was like that, and I appreciate this lucky running-into event.  

In the morning we went for bowling. There were more bowlers than usual. Other than that, no special events today. My family and I had a great resting day. I understand the reason why we can spend our day peacefully and safely is because our family spirits are constantly guiding us and protecting us. Every minute and every second include full of miracles for us to be here. So, thank you to my family spirits always.

I woke up in the middle of the night around 3:30-ish, because of my daughter’s scratching sound. Her rush parts in both of her inner elbow have gotten worse every day. They are now dry and changed color to white. She said it itches and hurts. I started worrying about her skin rush. I prayed to my family spirits and finally could fall back to sleep again.

In my dream, I was with my homeopathy teacher. My family were visiting her office in Japan. There were other helpers with us. Maybe they were around 10 people who were all professional homeopaths. We sat down in a circle. The homeopathy teacher, my daughter, and I were sitting in a row. My daughter and I were the patients, and the homeopathy teacher and other homeopaths were ready to discuss about the good homeopathy remedies that would hit to us and heal our symptoms. I felt comfortable and relaxed because I knew they would be a great help for my daughter and me. then I woke up feeling relaxed.    

I am glad my prayer is always heard, and my family spirits always show their reaction in some ways. I still clearly remember what my homeopathy teacher told me. She told me like this.

“You need to start healing yourself by taking care of your inner child. Once you heal yourself, the environment surrounded by you will follow. As for your family, you are the Sun for the family. Your daughter is very close to you and being influenced by your Sun light, she can receive benefits from you by healing yourself. So, don’t worry about your daughter right now. Focus on your healing now. Alright?”

I loved her innocent big smile and unconditional love to me.

まずは君自身のインチャを癒すんだ。君が変われば、君を取り巻く環境が自然に変わっていくんだ。君は家族の太陽だから、娘さんは君のすぐそばにいて、君の太陽エネルギーの影響を直接的に受けているから、君が良い方向に変わったら、娘さんはすぐにその良い影響を感じ取る。今は娘さんの心配はしなくて良い。君自身から始めよう。いいかい？いいね？

I need to work on the assignment for the therapy course as the due date of the assignment submission is set within 2 weeks after finished watching the lecture. The topic of this time’s assignment is anger. I meditated first, then started writing about the topic. But my mind has been wandering around here and there and I haven’t reached the goal where I want to head out. I thought optimistically that I already graduated from dealing with the emotion of anger. The idea made me feel good. Then I fell asleep at night.

I guess my family spirits wanted to say no to my thought of the previous night. I had a nightmare on that night.

In my dream I was traveling by a car with 5-6 people. The travel companions were the people whom I recently met for the job opportunity. We stopped by at a bento store. Just the same as my usual habit, I let other members go to the store counter before me. After all of them purchased their favorite bento and came back to the car, I went to the store counter. I ordered a Nori-ben special. The store person was an Asian Indian elder woman. She told me it was $11. When I open my wallet, I saw all I had in my wallet was $21 bills. So I gave the $21 bill to the store person and waited for the change. The female worker gave me back a pile of bills as the change, but the bills were written as Indian rupee. I told the worker that I could not accept the Indian money as I would not use it where I live (America), but the worker pretended that she didn’t understand English and kept on pushing the Indian money on to my palm. I looked back in the car expecting my team members would come and help me, but nobody was watching me. They were busy eating their food. I was so angry at the worker and at the team member that they didn’t help me. Then I woke up.

Even though I woke up uncomfortably from the content of the dream, I instantly knew it came from the love of my family spirits. They just wanted to show me that I still have to deal with my anger issue. I get angry when I expect somebody to help me but it turns out they don’t.

It happened many times while I was very young. Nobody helped me and I needed to deal with it all by myself. I thanked my family spirits for showing it, and I went to see myself of my younger days. I will need to work on the healing of myself many more times as the scars are deeply hidden and rooted.
