In the afternoon I attended a seminar regarding a trip to Japan presented by a Japanese travel agency. There were three speakers and they all provided the helpful information. I didn’t know about the current requirement for a Japanese person to enter Japan. If a person already has received the corona vaccine more than three times, they can enter Japan easily. However, for a person like me who has not received the vaccine at all or only received up to twice, it will be tough because we will have to prepare extra documents and procedures. Same thing goes to a minor child. If their parents have received the vaccine more than three times, all the time-consuming documents and procedures will be waived. If not, even a minor child will have to prepare the required documents just to enter Japan even though they are going back to their own country. My family spirits are right. They are telling me to wait until the year of 2024 for us to visit Japan. This situation will stay the same in the next year of 2023.  

There was one good news. United airline will resume the international flight from San Francisco to Osaka from January 5^th 2023. Even it will be only 3 days a week, it is much better than no flights at all like in the previous two years.

In the morning I went bowling (10) with my family. My husband started working only 3 days a week since last week. He is still new to his current workplace. He recently found out his holiday hours will expire at the end of this year and so his supervisor suggested my husband to use his holiday hours on every Wednesdays until the end of year. He is happy about the new work shift.

I watched the online lecture of my homeopathy course. Today’s instructor was new to me. his name is Mr. Yoshitane Akiyama. He is the same age as me, but he has done a lot in this life. He has stopped eating and drinking since 2008 and lived off with the energy in the air. He is a professional homeopath as well as an attorney.

His homeopathy lecture was nothing special, but his comment at the end of the lecture for just 5 minutes was impressive. This lecture was provided in December of 2019. He mentioned that we humans soon would have a global level huge event. Since this event was a global one that nobody on this planet could avoid, everybody would get influenced whether one will like or not. This was right before the pandemic that started at the beginning of the following year of 2020. And it was true that everybody was influenced regardless of our preferences. He warned us not to fully believe what the mass media would inform us. This was right too. The majority of humans have believed and gotten fooled by the wrong or artificially made information. He ended the lecture by leaving a message. This huge global event would happen for reasons. It would be a great opportunity for us to fully trust our gut feeling and follow it, instead of running around like a chicken by fully trusting the provided information. This huge event would provide us opportunities to let go the unnecessary old traditions and wisely choose what we really need and what we feel comfortable based on our gut feelings.

After finished watching his lecture, I started reading one of his books. I was so impressed with his messages written in the book. I focused on his book so that I could finish reading his book within three hours even though I sometimes took a note and closed my eyes in order to fully understand and grab his message sinking into my soul.

Then I went to bed and fell asleep right away. I guess I needed to go back to the spirit world right away so that I could discuss with my family spirits what I learned from him.

On the next morning I woke up feeling all excited. I was filled with my passion and willingness to pursue in fulfilling my life mission, that is to convey messages from spirits. I don’t know where to start, but all I know at this moment is that I am excited and happy to think about my life mission being a messenger from spirits. I will focus on the happy thought at this moment, I trust my family spirits to prepare my next steps when I am ready.

One more thing that I felt excited. I felt so good when I think about living this life without food and drink like him. For that, I am already working on it by having two meals a day by fasting 16 hours every day. my next step for this goal is to reduce my meal time to once a day.   

In the late morning at 11 a.m., I had a zoom meeting with my fellow student of homeopathy school. She lives in America too. She shared the method how she purchases the items from the Japanese homeopathy store by using a credit card and transfer the items internationally. We introduced each other on how we ended up living in America. She is currently a student to become a professional homeopath and she is now at the fourth year. While I was listening to her, I was motivated to escalate to the professional course next year. It was really exciting to get to know my new homeopathy friend.

During our evening walking, I mentioned my desire to keep studying at the homeopathy school for another 4 years to become a professional homeopath. My family were happy for me and they will gladly support me for the path. I appreciate their understanding and kind support.

I attended the reiki gathering at midnight. There were 42 attendees. Toward the end, as usual, our teacher shared his wisdom with us. Today he talked about 改善 (Kaizen). First he let one of the Japanese male attendees to speak up. He used to work at Toyota and their company motto and philosophy is well known as Kaizen. His company encourages the workers that we are not perfect and we make mistakes, and that is why we can always make something better from our mistakes. And it is the philosophy of Kaizen. Our teacher also added the explanations of Kaizen in Japanese word. Each Chinese character has its meaning. 改 has a meaning of correct and renew and 善 means to a better way. So, Kaizen has a deep meaning than just improvement.

He as usual allowed me to share my thoughts too. I shared my thoughts like this.  

I used to easily get jealous to others by comparing myself to others. But now I know I should not compare with anybody else except for me. I can only compare today’s myself from yesterday’s myself and do Kaizen, then tomorrow’s myself can compare today’s myself and do Kaizen. That is how I can keep making myself better every day and every moment.

At night at 10 p.m., I attended a gathering of therapist course. The MCs were 2 office employees / instructors and there were about 20 to 30 students attended. The majority students had studied in the previous year and the reminder students were current students who just started this year, like me. When each attendee had an opportunity to introduce ourselves, we were allowed to express our concerns and questions, so I mentioned about my biggest concern. It is about the difficulty of purchasing the homeopathy products made in Japan from the company. This company does not allow customers to pay via credit cards. They only allow customers to pay by debiting from a Japanese bank account, which is impossible for the people like us who live in a foreign country. The two workers probably did not know the exact situation that I mentioned and so they could not offer any helpful support to me. I was a bit disappointed about their reaction. But there was one fellow student commented. She said she understands exactly what I meant and she now has a solution for me. she lives in America too and she finally found the way to purchase their products by a credit card and transfer the items through a transportation company. I thanked her and exchange our contact information. I am so glad that I attended this gathering and met this kind student.

In the morning I went for bowling (9). I was still sleepy and tired with dull headache, and my score was not good as last time. I took a 2-hour nap for the long night tonight. I had 3 zoom meetings coming up tonight. The first one is a get-together with my old friend, the second one is a therapist course gathering, and the third one is a Reiki gathering.

In the evening at 6 p.m., I had a Zoom meeting with my old friend of the university days. I was so excited to reconnected with her again. She was still beautiful and fun to chat with. We had a good laughter together and enjoyed catching up with each other. I lost contact with her for many years. I tried to find her and searched with her maiden name, but I could not find her. My friend told me she did the same; she wanted to reconnect with me and tried to find me with my maiden name.

I knew that she got married to a Buddhism monk. I had spent time with her husband twice. The first was when they came to my condominium and spent one night at my place before their marriage. The second was when I went to their temple and spent one night there with them after their marriage. Then I lost contact with her. I knew the beginning of her marriage life was super busy. I was super busy too, for my personal life.

We found out we lost contact for 20 years. I didn’t know she has three children and the oldest daughter is 20 years old. It was interesting to know that 3 of my close people including my brother and my best friend and this friend had their first child in 2001. I was devastated with my life and didn’t have enough room to celebrate their new born babies. I feel embarrassed to admit, but I was jealous for their happiness.

I am thankful that my friend still remembers me and thinks of me from time to time. I am thankful to my family spirits for guiding me to find her this time. I appreciate this miracle that we could reconnect with each other again. I am going to cherish this friendship with her for the rest of my life. Thank you so much Rie-chan. I always like you so much, respecting you and admiring you. I’ve always enjoyed having you as my precious company, and will cherish this friendship until my very last day. Thank you for accepting me as your friend.

In the early morning at 4 am, I attended the fortune teller’s monthly meeting. This morning we learned about the basic logic of Mayan calendar. I didn’t have any knowledge of Mayan calendar and I enjoyed learning new knowledge.

The lecture was for 2 hours and we stayed there to have a get-together with the classmates. Our meeting ended around 7 a.m. I was planning to have some sleep, but I decided to stay being awake all day instead.

Late in the morning we went to bowling (8). My score was not good at all as I had dull headache from lacking sleep.

It was a super busy day.

In the morning we went to bowling (7). While I was chatting with one of the fellow bowlers, I happened to receive good information about a pro bowling shop in town. Since I could not find any pro shops in town through the internet research, I thought I would have to go to the big city to purchase a bowling ball and have it drilled. I am glad we have one small business store close to our house. My husband talked to the pro bowling store owner later in the afternoon. He said the business goes slow and he needs to work as a full time to make life and the bowling support business is just a hobby/side work business. He mentioned he has 45 bowling balls waiting for him to drill and he now cannot take any new customers at this moment. I guess we will have to wait another one month or more.

In the early afternoon the realtor informed us somebody of her worker would deliver a refrigerator at 1 p.m. I took out all the foods from the refrigerator and freezer, and waited for a couple of hours. When two men arrived at our house, it was already close to 4 p.m. I was disappointed to see the second-hand refrigerator, not a brand new one. It came from an old house so that we needed to wipe down all the parts and shelves of the refrigerator to thoroughly cleanse it.

At 5:30 p.m., I had an appointment with an attorney for a 30minute free counseling session. The attorney is specialized the landlord/tenant issues. I wanted to discuss about our situation of being a tenant and would like to know about our rights. The attorney did not show up on time because he was behind the time with the former client. We had to wait for almost one hour until the attorney finally showed up in the zoom meeting room.

Today we needed to wait for a long time for our appointments and that made us extra exhausted. All in all, I am satisfied with the replaced refrigerator that we had put up with the old broken one for 3 years and 3 months.

In the morning I received an email from the realtor. As usual her email was very simple; no nice words such as greetings or best wishes. She informed us that they would deliver a refrigerator in this afternoon and asked me the best time. It was a great news. I never knew they had been working on a new refrigerator. Unfortunately though, I was all occupied with chores and appointments in all afternoon. I relied back to her and asked to change it until tomorrow. It was a very nice surprise. I never thought she has been working on our refrigerator. I am so excited for our new refrigerator so that we won’t need to put the heavy water bottles in front of the fridge door to keep shutting the door and change a soggy wet bath towel every morning from the water leakage.
