Flu Day-11 treadmill resumed 2/28/2022

I woke up feeling better. I still have body ache and coughs, but much better than yesterday.

In the morning I cooked curry for my family and me.

In the evening I went to the treadmill and jogged. I didn’t want to be harsh to my body. I suffered from easily out of oxygen and hard to breathe. Even in a short period of jogging, I got extremely thirsty.

Flu Day-10 2/27/2022

My husband can hear messages from his family spirits. Today he conveyed a message from them that it would take one more week for me to completely recover from this flu.

Once I get well, here are my to-do list.

(1) write a will

(2) write a letter to my dad and brother in Japan

(3) look for a procedure on how to notice the Japanese government of my death

Flu Day-9 thinking about a will 2/26/2022

I spent the same day as before. I got up from bed and took a walk. I could somewhat prepare some foods for my family. After some household chores, I went back to bed. I did the same in the evening. After some works, I went back to bed and slept at 6 p.m. In bed I was thinking about writing a will. I thought about my late mom and late dad-in-law. They departed without a personal will. Maybe they didn’t think their departure day would come this yearly.

Flu Day-8 releasing negative emotion 2/25/2022

I was still sick. I had an appointment with the insurance agent at night, but I asked the person to cancel it. Purchasing an annuity insurance has been the cause of my stress and I wanted to stay away from it for a while.

I have lost 3.6 kg (6.6 lb) for this past week. All I could eat for the past week was okayu (rice soup contained 2 tea spoon of brown rice and hot water soup), with 2 umeboshi.

This morning I had a little bit appetite back. I cooked rice, miso soup, fried egg and hotdog. But I could not finish them all.

Today my emotion got depressed. I shed tears several times during the day. I could not get up from bed. I felt myself useless. I felt like I had been in a negative world.

Flu Day-7 Snowy day 2/24/2022

When I woke up and went outside to go for a walk, I noticed the snow covered our cars and ground. The snow didn’t stay for even another 30 minutes but it was good to see snow this year.

My husband recovered from flu. It took him only two days to completely heal. I was still suffering from body ache. I had a vision appointment this morning but I asked to reschedule. I slept the majority of day and night today again.

Flu Day-6 2/23/2022

My husband woke up feeling sick again and took a day off from work again. He is originally weak in his throat. When he woke up, his voice was completely affected by viruses. As for me my throat was just fine. I still had chills and body ache in muscle and joints. I didn’t feel like doing anything. I had a dental cleaning appointment but I requested to reschedule.

Flu Day-5 my husband got flu too 2/22/2022

At 5 a.m. my husband came to me and told me he would take a day off from work. He had the same symptom as mine suffering from chill and ache all over his body. He went back to bed and slept through the day.

As for me I woke up with severe headache. Same as yesterday I forced myself get out from bed and prepared food for my family and did laundry. After I hanged the clothes to dry in the backyard, I went back to sleep. In the evening I got out from bed again and prepared dinner for family. Even in sick, my husband had appetite and woke up being hungry in the evening. After he ate, he went back to sleep. In our family my daughter was the only one who was totally healthy and active. I am glad she fully got recovered.

Flu Day-3 2/20/2022

Even though my flu symptoms started two nights ago, I could still move around during the day time for the past two days. Today was different. My flu symptoms realty kicked in.

I woke up with body ache. I could somewhat go for a walk with my family. After I prepared breakfast for my family and did the laundry and hanged the clothes in the backyard, I went to bed. In the evening I got up and fixed dinner for my family. I didn’t have appetite. I had a small cup of okayu (2 tea spoonful of brown rice and hot water soup with umeboshi).  I was only 2 hours up out of 24 hours. I stayed in bed the majority of day and night.
