Today is the last day of Obon. I haven’t done anything special for my late mom and my ancestors but I send positive thoughts and appreciation to them in my daily routine. I hope they had a good trip back to this world to check on us.

I wonder how much my late mom has been enjoying in the spirit world. I want her to enjoy there, instead of constantly worrying about us. I guess it will work well for both way for me enjoying my current life and for my late mom enjoying her current life. And eventually I will depart back to my spiritual home ground. Once it happens, I want my family keep on enjoying their life instead of crying for me.

Recently I often think about what I want to live my remainder life. I think it happens to most of the people who have reached to my age where we see our life being limited.

I want to live my life without wasting my energy anymore. I don’t need to become popular among people. I don’t need to be liked by everybody I don’t need to be understood by everybody.  I don’t want to lie to myself. Rather, I want to stay being myself. I always want to be honest to myself. I will live my life by taking good care of myself keeping good share in body, mind, and spirit. And I believe my being true to myself can be some help to make the world to a better place.

I wonder why I wanted to share this with my audience. Right now is during Obon when our ancestors visit us. So maybe one of my ancestors are sharing their wisdom with me.

I woke up with sore muscle from yesterday’s bowling. Still, it is okay because we had fun at the school event.

In the afternoon I watched the lecture of the homeopath course. The teacher shared Ryokan-san’s words and they resonated with my soul. He was a Zen Buddhist monk who lived much of his life as a hermit.

災難に逢う時節には災難に逢うがよく候
死ぬ時節には死ぬがよく候
これはこれ災難をのがるる妙法にて候

良寛

His words resonated with my soul at this moment. It might not if the timing is different from now. His words resonated with me right now because I have finally reached to the point where I can fully understand what he means.

He shared his wisdom when we meet catastrophe. He recommends us not to get panicky, rather, to accept the situation in front of us. Once we accept our fate and let it be, we can stay calm. Even if the catastrophe take our lives, once we fully accept our destiny, the leaving the physical body, the departure from this world to back to our original homeland will be taken place with peace.     

My family and I attended the in-person event for my daughter’s school. It was held at the bowling array. It was our very first time to attend this event. Last year we were planning to attend, but my late dad-in-law passed away right before the school event and we needed to cancel it.

There were many people in the venue. The school staff told us there would be more than 120 attendees. upon registration, the staff member assigned everybody to a certain lane. Each lane was assigned up to 6 players. We were assigned to the lane #4. We shared it with other family of three.

When we introduced to each other to the other family, I mentioned my name and my daughter’s name. they remembered our names right away, which is rare for Americans to easily remember and pronounce Japanese names. The three of the family were a grandma, a son, and a grandson. The grandma introduced herself as a half Japanese. That cleared my question. That was why they are familiar with Japanese names.

I was astonished with the fact. Before I left my house this morning, I prayed to meet a Japanese woman at this event venue. It naturally happened. We didn’t have enough time to play bowling and we were too busy to chat. I could not have time to get to know her. I wanted to become friends with her and possibly exchange phone numbers with her, but it didn’t happen. Still, I was very happy that my answer was heard.

We played two games. Even though it was a very first time for my daughter to play bowling, she did amazingly great. Her score was much better than mine. We all had a great time together.

These past two days we had heavy rain with hale. The size of hale was big. Some of them had the diameter of 2 cm or so. My garden got damaged from the hale so I needed to pick them up even though some of them were still in the process of growing.

In the morning I went to see some people at the community garden. They had lots of vegetables that they wanted to give away. They needed to pick up everything due to the damage from the hale. I thankfully received some of them and made vegetable soup stock.

Today my online order of LM potency homeopathy remedies arrived. As soon as I held the box, I could smell the alcohol. I also saw the leakage mark all over the cardboard box. I opened the box and found out one of the LM potency glass bottles was leaked. The bottle was not broken but the lid was loosened during the transportation. I sent some pictures to their customer support. Their response was not preferable solution for me. It was disappointing to know that they don’t work with the customer.  

In the evening at 6 p.m., I had my first one-on-one training with my palmist teacher. He showed me the Indian horoscope. It was my very first time to see my natal chart in Indian way. Since the Indian horoscope incorporates the actual condition of the sky, their chart is 27 degrees ahead of the Western horoscope. My sun sign is changed to be Aquarius and moon sign is changed to Pieces. When I heard the explanation, the Indian way of interpretation resonates with me. The teacher also read my family’s face feature and palm lines. I look forward to learning more from him. I appreciate for connecting with this teacher and his kindness.

Today I took the first class of the professional palmistry course. I am glad that I took this course. I am happy getting to know about the teacher being spiritual. His goal for providing this course is to make many people happy and motivated in the world, and his goal resonates with my soul too. My goal too is to make many people being happy and motivated and making the world a better place where everybody is nice and kind to each other.     With the new palmistry course, I have been studying at the Family Homeopath course online. Today I learned Human Anatomy. I wish I had learned these information and knowledge while my late mom was here so that I could be some more help for her to have her last days peacefully

I had an opportunity to talk to my direct upline of my finance company. Last time I talked with her was the middle of June. Then she went back to Japan to see her mom for two weeks. I didn’t want to bother her before, during, and after the trip to Japan, so I waited for her to settle down. Even though I knew she came back to America safely at the middle of last month, I hardly saw her in any meetings or trainings, so I have been patiently waiting for her to normally be back to her normal lifestyle. This morning I saw her in our regular team meeting, so I asked her to chat with me sometime. She quickly replied back to me and gave me some time to chat. I appreciate her so much for sparing her time with me.

I mentioned her about my concerns and explained what happened to me. She is very, very smart person so that she quickly understood exactly what I wanted. She cleared up my concern. By the evening she replied back to me with the official notice with the team leader. I cannot appreciate her more. I am thankful to have her as my direct upline. I send my appreciation from my heart. Thank you so much.

I watched the movie Prey (2022). This movie caught my eyes because features a largely Native American cast. The Comanche warriors fight against an alien predator to protect their tribal people. I especially love the scene that the main female character practices on throwing her axe. I guess she needed to have lots of practice. It was cool. I don’t think I can even practice throwing it. It might hit my head. I also liked the scenes where the main character uses some plants to make medicines. I really enjoyed watching this movie.
