In the evening my dad called me. His voice sounded very strong. We just talked about some casual topics. He knew that it is still risky for me to go back to Japan to visit him. I don’t know when I will be able to see him again.

I attended the workshop at 3:30 a.m. The workshop was the communication with past spirits. This instructor is popular and she always has many students. There were 11 students attended.

In the meditation, the instructor guided us to the spiritual journey to see our loved ones who passed away before us.

Right before we entered in the spirit world, I was greeted by several fawns. They were playful and jumping around. I didn’t understand the meaning of these fawns, but the instructor mentioned it might be showing I would deal with young kids in the near future. It made sense to me. I want to deal with and teach young kids once we move to Navajoland.

I also was greeted by a huge white Akita dog. I thought the meaning of this Akita dog was to show its loyal and trustworthy personality. The instructor mentioned it might be a surprise gift from spirits in the near future. I like the interpretation. I want to have this beautiful dog as our family member.

When I entered the house, I was greeted and hugged by my family; my son-in-spirit, my mom, my maternal grandparents. My mom was the main one who communicated with me and the other spirits were warmly holding the sacred space for us.

In order to join this workshop, I set my alarm at 3 a.m. I had a dream of my dad. I was visiting him in his house in Japan. My dad acted exactly the same as I saw him last time. He was smoking and using people for his chore. Even though I visited him from far away from his house, he started using me for his convenience. My mom was there with us. She was shaking her head sadly. Then the alarm went off and I woke up.

My mom confirmed that I was for sure there with my parents. My mom advised me I should not visit my dad at this moment, because he is still the same. I thanked my mom for this advice, as I have been thinking of my dad recently.

I told my mom about my diabetes condition. My mom hugged me and told me they are constantly in my support. They have been working on me to completely reverse it. She encouraged me to keep doing everything I have been making efforts. She told me to have a strong faith in reversing it.

During the communication, I released lots of tears. I felt big love from my mom and my family. I cherished this moment with them.

I appreciate my favorite instructor for providing us this sacred space. I believe all the attendees had a great experience in her workshop.

Starting from today for three days my daughter needs to take AzM2 test. AzM2 is the statewide achievement test for Arizona students. The venue is set in the local hotel. Inside the test room there were only 5 students. My daughter was nervous about the test before she went there. Once she got there, we were welcomed by three teachers as the proctors. According to my daughter, one of the teacher was nervous about today because this was her very first experience as a proctor. It was cute to see even an adult gets nervous for a new experience.

I told my daughter it is a blessing to experience a new thing. By doing the same things over and over again, we feel safe, but we cannot learn anything from it. When we encounter something new and it makes us feel nervous, we will learn new lessons.

I did the guided mediation of Native American man. His guided mediation was different from others. He guided the audience not to travel outside our body, but stay inside and travel inward. He said we don’t go travel to the great mystery, but have the great mystery come to us. As a matter of fact, all we need to delve into our inner self. I really loved the way he guided.

I cut my own hair. I did roughly by myself, and asked my daughter for the final adjustment. It turned out well. I am satisfied with my short hair for summer.

This afternoon I had a get together with my friend. We had been friends for these past 12 years. I am glad she came into my life.

She has been getting ready for moving to northern part in this July. We will eventually move up north too. Even though we will be farther than now, we will be still neighbors. Our new houses will be a three-hour’s drive away to each other.

I want to cherish every encounter and appreciate my friends who stay being friends with me for many years.

Today’s dream: I was at Navajoland with my old Navajo friends. We were discussing about our project. We were in a cabin with lots of glass windows. We noticed through the glass window that several black wild animals were coming to our cabin. One of my close Navajo friends went outside and started tackling with the animals one by one. He won and chased them away one by one. He tackled with a black bear; the biggest of all and won the fight. He came back the cabin and we continued to talking about our project. Then I woke up.

I don’t know what the message through this dream was, but I enjoyed reuniting with my old Navajo friends in my dream.

My family and I went to the canyon hiking in the early morning. Nowadays more people started coming to the hiking area. By the time when we were about to leave, there was no parking lot available for customers. I guess everybody has been enjoying AZ summer just like us.

In the afternoon we watched the movie “Soul (2020).” It was an inspiring movie. I loved it. I have been feeling the same as the main character. I have been cherishing every single second on planet Earth. I am feeling life is great.

We are already in April. I just noticed that I didn’t suffer from the spring allergic reaction this year. In previous years, I had suffered severely from spring allergic reaction in every March. Once in a while I needed to stay in bed all day long.

I survived this spring without getting severely sick. Wow. I wonder what was working well for me.   

One-meal-a-day might have been one of the reasons that helped me stay away from allergic reaction.

A replacement of a drive motor for the treadmill arrived. My husband replaced it. Now our treadmill is back to normal. With the new motor, it does not emit the loud noise anymore. I appreciate my husband for being able to replace the motor.

We have one more issue to be fixed. The lift frame has two cracks on its both corners and due to the cracks, we cannot use the treadmill’s incline feature. When my Navajo dad visits us, we will ask his advice on how to fix the cracks.
